Believing in God Should Focus on Reality, Not Religious Rituals

Believing in God Should Focus on Reality, Not Religious Rituals

How many religious customs do you observe? How many times have you rebelled against the word of God and gone your own way? How many times have you put into practice the word of God because you are truly considerate of His burdens and seek to fulfill His desire? Understand the word of God and put it into action. Be principled in your actions and deeds; this is not abiding by rules or to do so grudgingly just for show. Rather, this is the practice of truth and living by the word of God. Only practice such as this satisfies God. Any custom that pleases God is not a rule but the practice of truth. Continue reading

A Hymn of God’s Words “The Truth Behind God’s Work in the Age of Kingdom”

A Hymn of God’s Words “The Truth Behind God’s Work in the Age of Kingdom”

I

If you remain in the Age of Grace, you will never know God’s own disposition, or be free from corrupt disposition. And if you live in abundance of grace, but don’t know how to know and please God, pitifully believe Him but never gain Him. After you read God’s word, and you’ve experienced all His works in the Age of Kingdom, the dreams you held for many years will all come true. You’ll feel you’ve finally seen God, face to face.

II

And as you gaze, hear Him speak, appreciate His works and wisdom, and sense how real, almighty He is, you’ll know you’ve seen and gained more than those before you. You’ll know truly what it means to believe and follow His heart all the way. If you cling to the past and reject or deny God’s second incarnation, you will remain empty handed, have nothing, and be guilty of opposing Him. Continue reading

“My Dream of the Heavenly Kingdom” (1) – How to Pursue in Order to Enter the Heavenly Kingdom (1)

Gospel Movies “My Dream of the Heavenly Kingdom” (1) – How to Pursue in Order to Enter the Heavenly Kingdom (1)

Most believers of the Lord feel that as long as we follow the words of the Lord, practice humility and patience, and follow Paul’s example by sacrificing, expending and laboring for the Lord, we will satisfy the will of God. And we will be brought into the heavenly kingdom when the Lord returns. However, have we ever considered whether such a quest would really earn the Lord’s praise and admission to the heavenly kingdom? If not, how should we pursue to earn the praise of the Lord and be brought into the heavenly kingdom?

Refugees of The Church of Almighty God in Japan

Oral statement of Ms Christine Mirre, of the accredited NGO CAP-LC, at the 40th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, Geneva, 13 March 2019.

As of January 2019, 270 members of The Church of Almighty God (CAG), a Chinese Christian new religious movement, have escaped China and applied for asylum in Japan. None of the requests has been granted.

That the CAG is ruthlessly and cruelly persecuted in China is an established fact. The CAG claims that more than 300,000 of its members have been arrested, and scholars regard the figure as credible. There are hundreds of published Chinese court decisions showing that CAG members have been sentenced to heavy jail penalties for the only circumstance of being active in a banned religious organization. NGOs have also reported instances of torture, extra-judicial killings, and organ harvesting. Continue reading

A Hymn of God’s Words “True Meaning of Faith in God”

A Hymn of God’s Words “True Meaning of Faith in God

I

So many people believe, but so few understand what faith in God really means, what they need to do to beat with God’s heart. So many know the word “God,” know phrases like the “work of God,” but they don’t know Him, nor what He really does. No wonder their faith is blind. They’re not serious about this because it’s unfamiliar and strange. So they are far short of God’s demands. If you don’t know God and His work, can you be fit for His use? Can you fulfill the desire of God? Believing that God exists is not enough. That’s too simple, it’s too religious. It’s not the same as real belief in Him. True faith in God means you experience His works and His words on the faith that He’s sovereign over everything. Then you can free yourself from corrupt disposition and fulfill God’s desires in your life and come to know Him. That’s the way to true belief in God. That’s the way to true belief in Him.

II

So many think of believing as something simple and shallow. Such belief is meaningless. How can God approve? They’re on the wrong path. Those who believe in letters, in hollow teachings still don’t know that their faith is unreal and won’t be approved by God. Still they pray for peace and grace. Stop and think if faith is that easy. Is it just to ask for peace and grace? Can you fulfill the desire of His, when you still resist Him, not knowing Him? Believing that God exists is not enough. That’s too simple, it’s too religious. It’s not the same as real belief in Him. True faith in God means you experience His works and His words on the faith that He’s sovereign over everything. Then you can free yourself from corrupt disposition and fulfill God’s desires in your life and come to know Him. That’s the way to true belief in God. That’s the way to true belief in God. That’s the way to true belief in Him.

Hebrews 13:2 Commentary: Should We Entertain Strangers?

By Chen Hui

Early one morning, I sat by the window reading the Bible: “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares” (Hebrews 13:2). This verse tells us to entertain strangers with love, I thought. Since they are strangers, they must be people whom we don’t know, yet the pastor often tells us not to receive strangers by quoting the scriptures, “I marvel that you are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ to another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ” (Galatians 1:6–7). He says that as our statures are too small and we cannot distinguish, we should never receive any stranger who preaches the gospel. Ah, what exactly is the Lord’s will? What should I do? Should I receive the strangers who preach the gospel or not?

the Bible, Lord Jesus, God’s blessing, God’s will, being saved,

Just when I was feeling very perplexed, Sister Li in the church came to visit me, so I eagerly asked her: “Sister Li, the pastor often preaches to us, ‘I marvel that you are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ to another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ’ (Galatians 1:6–7). He doesn’t let us receive strangers, much less hear or see what they are preaching. But today I came across this verse, ‘Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares’ (Hebrews 13:2), which teaches us to entertain strangers with love. So should we receive strangers or not? I’d like to hear your view on this matter.” Continue reading

A Hymn of God’s Words “God’s Love and Essence Has Always Been Selfless”

A Hymn of God’s Words “God’s Love and Essence Has Always Been Selfless”

I

Never disclosing or showing His suffering. God, He endures, waiting in silence. Not cold or numb, not a sign of weakness. God’s essence and His love are always selfless. God gives His best, His best side He gives. The best things, very best things, He gives. For all mankind, He suffers; He suffers, bearing quietly. Quietly He gives, He gives His best.

II

Never disclosing or showing His suffering. God, He endures, waiting in silence. This is the expression of His essence and disposition, of who He really is: the Creator of all things. God gives His best, His best side He gives. The best things, very best things, He gives. For all mankind, He suffers; He suffers, bearing quietly. Quietly He gives, He gives His best. He gives His best, He gives His best.

God gives His best, His best side He gives. The best things, very best things, He gives. For all mankind, He suffers; He suffers, bearing quietly, quietly He gives. Bearing quietly, quietly He gives; He gives His best, He gives His best.
