2019 Christian Video “Have You Truly Repented?”

The Lord Jesus said, “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17). Once, Zhang Ming’en was a preacher at a house church. He believed in the Lord for many years, and for all that time, he preached, worked, suffered, and expended for the Lord. After he accepted God’s work of the last days, he was able to accept and submit to any duty arranged for him by the church, and he believed that through these good deeds, he had achieved genuine repentance and change. But, in a church election, Zhang Ming’en watched as other brothers and sisters were chosen as church leaders and deacons, while he was given the duty of hosting meetings. Although outwardly he appeared to accept and submit, he was very unhappy with it. When his wife exposes the fact that he hasn’t sincerely repented and changed, Zhang Ming’en is deeply confused: If behavioral change can’t be called genuine repentance and change, then just what is genuine repentance and change? Watch the skit Have You Truly Repented? to find out the answers. Continue reading

Christian Crosstalk “Last Days’ Pharisees” | Who Blocks Christians From Welcoming Lord Jesus’ Return

Christian Zhang Yi heard testimony that the Lord had returned, but as he investigated the true way, his pastor and elder tried several times to stop and prevent him, saying, “Any who claim the Lord has come incarnate are spreading heresy and false teachings. Don’t listen to them, don’t read their words, and don’t have any contact with them!” This confused Zhang Yi, because the Lord Jesus clearly said, “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him” (Matthew 25:6). “My sheep hear My voice” (John 10:27). The Lord’s words say that people must be wise virgins and actively seek and listen to the Lord’s voice to be able to receive the Lord, but his pastor and elder try everything they can to prevent and limit believers from hearing God’s voice. Why are they afraid of believers investigating the true way? … Through debates with his pastor and elder, Zhang Yi finally sees who the Pharisees are in the last days, and who is the real obstacle preventing believers from receiving the Lord.

The Long Road of Exile touches German Viewers: Admiration for Their Steadfast Faith

For the entire rule of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), it has brutally oppressed religious beliefs, and the Party has been making another major push to Sinicize religion since Xi Jinping came to power. It has unrelentingly increased its efforts to suppress religion, not only investigating and eradicating house churches in all regions and madly arresting and persecuting Christians, but also wantonly demolishing Three-Self churches and tearing down crosses atop churches. Some Christians have been forced to flee China to democratic countries where they apply for asylum in order to escape the CCP’s persecution. On November 16, 2018, a film screening entitled “Reasons Behind Chinese Religious Refugees’ Flights” was held in the German town of Buchen, organized by the Association of Roman Catholic Women Priests, with the aim of allowing more people to understand and pay attention to the plight of Chinese Christians who are brutally suppressed and persecuted by the CCP; it was also a call to the German government to handle Christians’ refugee applications carefully. Christians of Chinese Christian house churches were invited to participate and Christians from The Church of Almighty God were also special guests. The film shown, “The Long Road of Exile,” is a part of the Chronicles of Religious Persecution in China series; it is a documentary made based on Chinese Christians’ real-life experiences of persecution. It drew the attendance of a number of local Christians.
